This Refillable Dual Cartridge Countertop Water Filter stops fluoride in its tracks!

The So-Clear Dual Cartridge Refillable Countertop Water Filter removes chlorine, lead, scale and hundreds of other contaminants from your household or office water. The main filters are designed to be refilled about every 10,000 gallons (or about 1 year). Some people may get more or less life from the filters depending on the quality of your water. If the water begins to taste "funny," then its probably time to recycle your filters and install new ones. The life of the Fluoride Pre-Filter life varies. See below for details.

Filters:

Main Filter - choose one:	Pre-Filter
The Standard Filter is the filter of choice for most people in most situations. Its filter efficiency is at about 85-90% and will remove up to 98% of chlorine. This filter is very adequate for most household water situations, and generally preferred because it is not likely to clog.	The Fluoride Pre-Filter takes care (up to 95%) of this toxic substance that is added to most municipal water systems - Fluoride. In many areas, it is added to our water under the premise that it is good for our teeth.
The Crypto-Giardia Filter has an efficiency rating of 99.99%. If giardia, cryptosporidium, and cysts are of concern, this is the filter of choice. However, this filter is more likely to clog, and may have a shorter overall useful life span. If you do use this filter, you may want to also install a whole-house sediment pre-filter to prolong the life of the Crypto-Giardia filter.	Call us at 1-888-513-2784 (1-888-51-EARTH) for Optional Pre-filters which include Nitrates Pre-Filter, Chloramine Pre-Filter, Arsenic Pre-Filter, and Radioactive Elements Pre-Filter which may used in place of (instead of) the Fluoride Pre-Filter.

Spout vs. Diverter:

• The Diverter delivers filtered water at the faucet when the diverter switch is flipped (available in white only)
   
• The Spout delivers water from a curved metal faucet located on the filter itself when the diverter switch is flipped at the faucet (see: above right image - available in white or chrome)

There are many water filters on the market today, and unfortunately, most do little more than filter for flavor, a small percentage of chlorine, and a few other dissolved substances. At Abundant Earth, we have taken it upon ourselves to find the highest quality, longest lasting, recyclable filter we could possibly find. Abundant Earth offers the highest quality copper-zinc and coconut shell carbon filters available anywhere. The copper-zinc (KDF) in combination with coconut shell carbon provides the most effective filtering media. The KDF process creates an electrochemical reaction between the KDF alloy and the water. This process, along with the large amounts (not just a sprinkling, like some companies) of coconut shell carbon are able to radically reduce dissolved and particulate toxins by up to 99.9% depending on the substance. Waterborne toxins are significantly reduced or eliminated with our filters.

Be sure to compare our filters against other filters on the market. Our filters clearly last longer, work better, and save you money in the long run. Specifically, Fluoride Pre-Filters (with pH of water between 4.5 and 6) will last up to 5500 gallons if your fluoride level is less than 1-ppm (parts/million), 2750 gallons at 1-ppm, 1400 gallons at 2-ppm, 1100 gallons at 3-ppm, 800 gallons at 4-ppm, and 600 gallons at 5-ppm. The Nitrate Pre-Filter will last about from 275 (19-ppm) up to 500 gallons (less than 19-ppm).

Please note:
Not recommended for pull-out faucets. Like most filters, our So-Clear filters are primarily for use with chlorinated public water systems. Well water should be tested before filtering to ensure adequate filtering protection for your potable water system. Please contact Abundant Earth to recycle your old Abundant Earth water filters (Abundant Earth filters only, please).
