Our Natural Wool Squares Blankets are Colorful, Cozy and Creatively Earth Friendly. 

We are proud to offer these luxurious blankets stitched from Wool Sweaters.  That's right, this method actually takes recycled wool sweaters which are cleaned, softened and cut into squares, then sewn together and edged with decorative trimming.  The result is a beautiful and comfortable wool blanket that makes use of the finest post-consumer materials.

Trim: Monochromatic 7" Squares of once-loved wool sweaters are sewn from edge to edge and then trimmed with your choice of edging.  You can choose either a narrow, shiny rayon ribbon edging which is zigzag stitched about 1 inch from the border (pictured above on left) or rickrack edging which is blanket-stitched to the perimeter (pictured above on right). 

Colors Available:  Butter, Chocolate,  Fuchsia, Ivory, Lilac, Lime, Mulberry, Mustard, Olive, Peony, Periwinkle, Pumpkin, Red, Sky,  Stone, Tenango, Wheat.   Samples are shown below.  Please keep in mind that these are approximations since each blanket is unique and each computer monitor shows the colors differently.

Care and Cleaning Instructions:

How to Wash:  

• Fill washing machine with warm soapy water (regular laundry soap works just fine)
• Add your blanket, sham, or throw pillow (REMOVE INSERT!) and hand agitate
• Run washer on spin cycle - not rinse and spin cycle
• Fill machine again, use warm rinse water
• Hand agitate to rinse
• Run spin cycle again

How to Dry:

• Lay towels on the floor enough to lay item flat
• Roll item and towel together forcing excess water from blanket
• Lay flat or hang over shower rod or banister to dry
or
• Dry clean

Notes:  These products are made-to-order. Please allow 2 to 5 weeks for delivery. These products are made from recycled sweaters made of natural wool. They may contain other fibers as well. Each blanket is unique, and due to the nature of recycled materials, colors and patterns may vary somewhat from blanket to blanket.
