Organic Futons for A New Millenium

We use 100% organic cotton batting at the core of our futons, which conforms to your body curves and allows your skin to breathe. We then cover it with organic cotton fabric, which will generally have a sturdy metal zipper closure along the side for manufacturing purposes. The zipper is installed in a manner that is not easily opened again (please let us know if you would like a futon without a zipper). No pesticides, no treatments--100% organic! We offer different thicknesses of futons to accommodate different needs and desires.

• Our 6" and 8" futons are great as single-layer sleeping surfaces--the 6" futon is the thickness of choice for convertible futon furniture--thick enough to be cushy--but not too thick to bend and fold.
• Our 3" and 4" futons are designed for layering your sleeping surface with two or more futons-- making them easier to flip, air, roll, etc.

For added protection for your new futon, add an organic cotton zippered futon cover. For an extra special treat, top your new futon with one of our organic cotton comforters. For added color, add one of our organic cotton comforter covers as well!

Please note that organic cotton futons are free of chemical flame retardants. A doctor's prescription is required to purchase an Abundant Earth futon. A simple prescription from a stated-licensed M.D., naturopath or chiropractor simply stating that "patient requires bedding without chemical flame retardants" will suffice. You may fax this prescription to Abundant Earth at (360) 390-4271. Alternatively, a natural wool wrap will also satisfy the government's flame retardant requirement. This wrap is added to the inside of the futon. The wool also adds extra resiliency, dust mite resistance, thermal comfort and moisture resistance.
