The Wicker Rain Water Barrel from Abundant Earth

The Wicker 50 Gallon Rain Water Barrel saves rain water in a cleverly designed wicker-patterned barrel.

Made in the USA ~ Abundant Earth

Water is a precious resource we cannot let go to waste. Rain barrels reduce the amount of water draining into sewer treatment facilities, while lowering the impact of roof top runoff. Collecting and storing rainwater provides a backup source of outdoor water use during times of drought or between rain showers. It helps to keep creeks, lakes and beaches clean by reducing the amount of chemicals washed into bodies of water from urban runoff. Rainwater is also naturally chlorine-free. Using chlorine-free rainwater for your lawn and garden helps maintain a thriving biotic community in your soil.

The Wicker Rain Water Barrel is made from a high quality molded plastic which holds up to the harshest elements. This 50 gallon wicker-like design is sturdy and one of the most eye-catching rain barrels on the market, and it's a wicker design that will never unravel or fray. With a deep welled top, you can plant an array of floral arrangements or even a small herb or vegetable garden. The top also includes an original, integrated overflow channel. This channel automatically diverts all overflow water to the front of the barrel and keeps your foundation from flooding. The large opening which can be used for 2x3 or 3x4 downspouts is covered with a soft, fine mesh, plastic screen. This screen keeps out heavy debris and insects for your piece of mind. Also included with the barrel are the two, offset spigot locations. Now you can use a 5 gallon bucket or hose simultaneously without issue, or use the second spigot as an overflow into a second barrel.
