This Maintenance-Free So-Clear Under-Counter Water Perma-Filter works beneath any home or office sink to filter up to 50,000 gallons of cold water on demand! Using a combination of patented trace minerals (Copper-Zinc, which has been tested to NSF standard 42 and 61), and coconut shell carbon. This system will remove and/or reduce up to 98% of chlorine, sediment, algae, molds, scale, bad taste, odors, and other undesirable contaminants that may effect the quality of your water supply. Unlike carbon only filters, bacteria can't grow inside our bacteriostatic filters. Bacteriostatic means that bacteria won't grow in the filter media. This filter is maintenance free and installs in about 15 minutes, and, like all Abundant Earth water filters, it is recyclable through our Abundant Earth Water Filter Recycling Program!

• Optional Third Faucet Kit - The third faucet is a small bent tube faucet that installs in a spare hole in your sink. With the Third Faucet Kit, only water used at the third faucet will be filtered.

Filter Life:
You may get more or less life from the filter depending on the quality of your water. Taste and the amount of usage are two determinants of the life of the cartridge. This filter can last up to 5 years or 50,000 gallons of water with moderate usage. However, if your water begins to taste "funny," then its probably time to recycle your filter and install a new one.

This process, along with the large amounts (not just a sprinkling, like some companies) of coconut shell carbon are able to radically reduce dissolved and particulate toxins by up to 99.9% depending on the substance. Well water should be tested before filtering to ensure adequate filtering protection for your potable water system. Please contact us to recycle your old Abundant Earth water filters (Abundant Earth filters only, please).
