Best Friends Animal Sanctuary: Best Friends works with
groups all across the country to bring about a time when there are
No More Homeless Pets. The sanctuary, is home, on any given day,
to about 1,500 dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, and other animals.
Best Friends also reaches across the nation, helping humane
groups, individual people, and entire communities to set up
spay/neuter, shelter, foster, and adoption programs in their own
neighborhoods, cities, and states.

Earth
Island Institute: Develops
and supports projects that counteract threats to the biological
and cultural diversity that sustain the environment. Through
education and activism, these projects promote the preservation,
conservation restoration of the Earth.

Natural
Resources Defense Council (NRDC) :
Uses law, science, and the support of more than 400,000 members
nationwide to protect the planet's wildlife and wild places and to
ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things.

For Puget Sound is a non-profit citizens' group
working to protect and restore the health of Puget Sound and the
Northwest Straits through education and action. Our vision is of a
clean and healthy Sound, teeming with fish and wildlife, cared for
by the people who live here.

Rainforest
Action Network :
Works to protect the Earth's rainforests and support the rights of
their inhabitants through education, grassroots organizing, and
non-violent direct action.

Trees
for Life :
Empowers people by demonstrating that in helping each other, we
can unleash extraordinary power that impacts our lives. We do this
by helping people plant fruit trees in developing countries. Each
tree protects the environment and provides a low-cost,
self-renewing source of food for a large number of people.
